Both Cale and Meggan’s parents were police officers who knew each other for 30 years. However, their children never met until one day in 2011 when Meggan was in search of an english saddle of all things. Deb, Cale’s mother, brought one over for Meggan to look at and Cale happened to be with her. The two soon hit it off and began dating. They both fell in love with the American Paint Horse Association, and their ambition took them beyond local shows. Cale at the time was still an officer in the Army, and had orders to deploy overseas once again. The couple decided to get married before Cale had to leave, so on March 16, 2014 they got hitched. Once married, they pursued their horse business and eventing goals. They settled in Newton, North Carolina and purchased a fixer upper to build their dream. The once run down property is now CM Equine Center!
